Nurainie Ampatuan

A former beauty queen, Nurainie wants to use her talents for designing clothes to promote the beauty of Moro culture. Her internationally acclaimed work primarily uses handwoven textiles of the Moro groups specifically the Pis Syabit made by the Tausug, the Inaul from the Maguindanaon, Tennun from the Yakan and the Landap from the Maranao. Her brand, Hilyah Signorina, has been featured in several media outlets and has been worn by local celebrities, including Heart Evangelista who personally picked a piece from her collection to wear in her GMA telenovela, I Left My Heart in Sorsogon.
